Randy L. Weisz, D.D.S.

Dr. Randy Weisz was born and raised in Kennewick Washington. He studied mechanical engineering at Columbia Basin College and then transferred to the University of Washington. While at the University he became interested in Dentistry and switched majors graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, and then in 1986 he graduated with honors from the UW Dental School. Following that, he completed the General Practice Residency program at the University Hospital where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, children’s dentistry, sedation/general anesthesia and dentistry in the operating room. After that, he worked for two years as a dental associate in a large, busy general dental practice in Federal Way, WA.

In 1989 Dr. Weisz took over the successful, established Queen Anne dental practice of Dr. Merle Hanley upon his retirement. Dr. Weisz merged his practice in 1998 with a fellow Queen Anne Dentist, Dr. Alan Kaplan. For the past 30 years he has honed his skills becoming one of the top cosmetic dentists in the Seattle area. His training and experience are unique in that he draws on his engineering training when designing solutions to complex dental situations, many times dealing with discolored, fractured, worn and missing teeth. With an understanding of how to handle the mechanical stresses that cause damage to the dentition is combined with his artistic eye and acute attention to detail, Dr. Weisz consistently produces world class smiles that are both durable and beautiful.

Dr. Weisz is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has completed post graduate training at the prestigious Pankey Institute. He is a member of two dental study clubs and consistently on the Top Dentists in Seattle list from Seattle Met Magazine. He lives in Federal Way and in his off time, he enjoys boating, camping and exploring back woods forest trails.
